Ανακοινώθηκαν και επίσημα οι υποψηφιότητες για τα Όσκαρ 2024 χωρίς πολλές εκπλήξεις. Τα φιλμ Οπενχάιμερ, Poor Things και Barbie έχουν τις περισσότερες υποψηφιότητες για φέτος. Να σημειωθεί πως η 96η Τελετή Απονομής των Βραβείων Οσκαρ θα γίνει την Κυριακή 10 Μαρτίου.
Ο Γιώργος Λάνθιμος κέρδισε για το Poor Things, 11 υποψηφιότητες και ανάμεσα τους και αυτή της καλύτερης ταινίας και σκηνοθέτη.
