Η σειρά The Studio αναδείχθηκε ο μεγάλος νικητής της βραδιάς στην 77η ετήσια απονομή των Βραβείων Emmy κερδίζοντας συνολικά 13 βραβεία στα Primetime και Creative Arts Emmys, συμπεριλαμβανομένου του βραβείου καλύτερης κωμικής σειράς.
Η σάτιρα του Χόλιγουντ από την Apple TV+ είχε ήδη κερδίσει εννέα βραβεία στα Creative Arts Emmys την προηγούμενη εβδομάδα. Πολύ γρήγορα προστέθηκε ακόμη ένα, με τον Seth Rogen να αποσπά το βραβείο καλύτερου ηθοποιού σε κωμική σειρά. Ο Rogen και ο μακροχρόνιος συνεργάτης του, Evan Goldberg, ανέβηκαν ξανά στη σκηνή για να παραλάβουν το βραβείο σκηνοθεσίας σε κωμική σειρά. Αυτή η διάκριση κατέταξε την κωμωδία του Apple TV+ στο βιβλίο των ρεκόρ, ως η σειρά με τα περισσότερα Emmy στην πρώτη της χρονιά.
Στη συνέχεια, ο Rogen και ο Goldberg ενώθηκαν με τους Peter Huyck, Alex Gregory και Frida Perez, κερδίζοντας το Emmy για καλύτερη σεναριακή γραφή σε κωμωδία, κατακτώντας έτσι το ρεκόρ της πιο πολυβραβευμένης κωμικής σειράς σε μία μόνο χρονιά στην ιστορία των Emmys. Ο Rogen ισοφάρησε επίσης το ρεκόρ των περισσότερων Emmys που έχει κερδίσει ένα άτομο σε μια βραδιά, μαζί με τους Moira Demos (2016), Amy Sherman-Palladino (2018) και Dan Levy (2020).
Η σειρά “Adolescence” διακρίθηκε επίσης, κερδίζοντας οκτώ βραβεία στην κατηγορία limited series. Εκτός από το βραβείο καλύτερης limited σειράς, οι πρωταγωνιστές Stephen Graham, Owen Cooper και Erin Doherty απέσπασαν τα βραβεία Α΄ ανδρικού ρόλου, Β΄ ανδρικού ρόλου και Β΄ γυναικείου ρόλου, αντίστοιχα. Οι Jack Thorne και Graham κέρδισαν επίσης το βραβείο καλύτερου σεναρίου σε limited σειρά. Η σειρά “The Penguin”, που είχε ήδη οκτώ βραβεία από τα Creative Arts Emmys, απέσπασε το βραβείο Α΄ γυναικείου ρόλου σε limited σειρά, το οποίο κέρδισε η πρωταγωνίστρια Cristin Miloti.
Η νέα σειρά “The Pitt” κέρδισε το πολυπόθητο βραβείο καλύτερης δραματικής σειράς, ενώ ο Noah Wyle απέσπασε το βραβείο καλύτερου ηθοποιού σε δραματική σειρά. Νωρίτερα μέσα στη βραδιά, η συμπρωταγωνίστριά του Katherine LaNasa κέρδισε το βραβείο Β΄ γυναικείου ρόλου σε δραματική σειρά. Συνολικά, η σειρά απέσπασε πέντε Emmy φέτος. Το “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” κέρδισε για πρώτη φορά το βραβείο στην κατηγορία outstanding talk series, λίγο μετά την ανακοίνωση ότι η εκπομπή θα ολοκληρωθεί το 2026. Ο Colbert και η ομάδα του καταχειροκροτήθηκαν θερμά, με το κοινό να φωνάζει ρυθμικά το όνομά του καθώς ανέβαιναν στη σκηνή.
Την παρουσίαση των φετινών Emmy έκανε ο Nate Bargatze, ο οποίος προσπάθησε να κρατήσει τους νικητές εντός χρονικού ορίου στις ευχαριστήριες ομιλίες τους, υποσχόμενος ότι θα αφαιρούσε χρήματα από μια δωρεά 100.000 δολαρίων προς το Boys and Girls Club για κάθε δευτερόλεπτο που θα ξεπερνούσαν. Αυτό που ξεκίνησε ως αστείο σύντομα έγινε αποκαρδιωτικό, με το ποσό να φτάνει κάποια στιγμή τα -50.000 δολάρια. Τελικά, ο Bargatze και το CBS υποσχέθηκαν 350.000 δολάρια στον οργανισμό, κλείνοντας έτσι τη βραδιά.
